Which John Deere models connect with Little Buck, Little Bull, and Z Buck Loaders?
Models with four quick-connect hydraulic outlets, including,
Little Buck: 655, 755, 2210, & 2305*; x700 series; x575, x585, x595; x465, x475, x485, x495; 400, 425, 420, 430, 445, 455; 314, 316, 317, 318, 322, 330, 332; h-2 h-3 140.
Little Bull: 445, x465, x475, x485, x495; x575, x585, x595; and x700’s.
Z Buck: ATV/UTVs and commercial-grade zero turn mowers that have a welded-on 2" front mount bracket that can handle 750 lbs of tongue weight.
Which Kubota models connect with Little Buck and Little Bull?
Currently several Kubota BX subcompact tractors with a joystick and factory-installed loader valve: BX2350, BX2360, BX2370, BX2660, BX2670. Our loaders that attach to Kubotas are currently out of stock.
Do you make loaders for tractors other than John Deere & Kubota?
At this time, Little Buck & Little Bull Loaders are designed to connect to John Deere tractors and a small selection of Kubotas.

What can I use my loader to do?
Our loaders are material movers. They’re designed to move loose dirt, mulch, gravel, and snow. Our loaders are not designed to excavate.
How does the loader attach to my tractor? Will it use only a system of spring loaded pins, and will this cause oval shaped (worn) mounting holes?
The pins hold it in place but there is a channel that holds it directly to the weight bar. This allows for very little play; we haven't had a customer raise it as an issue.
Can I add a toothbar to my loader?
We’ve had many customers order the custom Piranha toothbar for their loaders. As long as you’re not using the loader for excavation, the toothbar can be a helpful addition (read about this customer’s experience).
How much does a Little Buck Loader cost?
Little Buck Loaders are priced at $2,190, before shipping or taxes. Little Bull’s are priced at $3,190; Z Bucks are priced at $3,390.
JD 655, 755, 2210, and 2305 models are priced at $2,290 because they require additional brackets.
Can I keep on the mowing deck?
For the 400, 420, and 430 models, the mowing deck must be removed; and a frame extender (here’s an example) is required for the 430. For all other models for which we build, the mowing deck can remain on the tractor. To operate these attachments, most of our customers allow for a short pause while the lift cylinder travels to the end of the stroke before the tilt is actuated. They often crank the deck level to its highest level to minimize this. Some choose to install a lock-out valve to direct the function to the tilt when they are not using the deck for mowing. It is quite intuitive once you use it.
Can I keep on the cab?
Hard and soft cabs will work with the Little Buck, but neither will work with the Little Bull.
Will the loader attach if I have two quick-connect hydraulic outlets?
In order for our loader to work on your machine (for example, the John Deere 300), you need to get two dual front hydraulic hookups—for a total of four. That would make the 300 function like the 318—but with no power steering.
Will the Antler Grappler clear accessories on my bucket?
Most of the placement of the accessories on the bucket will not interfere with the mounting of the Antler Grappler. The bolt-on plates are 24 inches a part center to center. So that placement is about 12 inches from either side of the bucket. We can widen that for those who have a tough man plate attached already.
How do I properly detach the loader?
First, find a safe area to remove the loader, then put the loader in a down position that allows both spring loaded pins to be pulled out and locked. Then shut off the tractor. Before removing hoses, push both tilt and arm levers up and down to remove back pressure. If you remove the loader and then have trouble reconnecting the bucket tilt hydraulics, wrap a rag around the male end of the nipple on the end of the tilt hoses and press down to let out some fluid. Fluid will spray out, and that should release any built-up pressure.
Do I need to know anything specific if I’m ordering for JD X models?
We recommend replacing the pressure relief valve (example here) if you tend to drive your tractor hard. If the wheels are not spinning and the engine is wide open, fully engaged in forward, the transmission can be damaged. If you are careful, you will not need the valve. Read more on this blog post.
We’ve heard that replacing the cutoff valve (example here, video here) can also make the implement work more efficiently.
If your tractor does not come with a flow control valve, you can either purchase one from a local dealer, or you can just turn your mowing deck to its highest level.

How much does shipping cost?
When you select Fastenal shipping ($190), your loader will arrive at your local Fastenal store for you to pickup by appointment. When you order your loader, enter your home address as the shipping address, and we will work with Fastenal to find the branch nearest you that, 1) has a forklift, and 2) is approved to receive shipments.
If Fastenal is not available in your area or you have a non-Fastenal preferred destination, shipping is $400 to the Eastern region of the U.S., or $800 to the Western region. Call for a quote, as shipping carrier pricing fluctuates.
Do you ship to Canada?
At this time, we ship to limited areas in Canada. If you’re interested in getting a quote for shipping, please email us with your address.
Are sales taxes applicable to me?
Only if you are an Illinois resident or picking up the loader in person.
Which forms of payment will you accept?
We accept Visa, MasterCard, AMEX, Discover, personal checks, and PayPal.
Can I pick up a loader in person?
We’d love to meet you! Feel free to stop by on Thursdays or Fridays. Please contact us to set up an appointment. Our loading dock is located at 358 North California, Sycamore, IL 60178.
If I order a loader today, how soon will I receive it? What are shipping dimensions and weights?
We try to ship loaders 1-2 weeks from when the order is placed; this is based on the type of loader ordered, how many orders we have in the queue, and seasonality. We’ll email you with a tracking number when your loader ships. Please allow for 7-10 business days from shipping to receive your loader. Let us know of any questions or special delivery needs you may have.
All loaders arrive on a pallet. Little Bull Loader shipping dimensions: 48x40x60”; Little Buck Loader shipping dimensions: 40x48x40”. Weight varies depending on if the pallet is fully crated or not, but generally 250-400 lbs. Most standard pickup trucks beds will fit the pallet.
Where is Little Buck Loader located?
We are located at 358 North California Street in Sycamore, Illinois. Our business began in our garage, and in August 2017, we moved to a small factory.
